When is the conference?

When does registration open?

The countdown is on! Registration launches March 11th at noon ET.
But wait—our Frequent Flyers get exclusive early access on March 9th at noon ET, followed by those who registered for the pre-sale on March 10th at noon ET.

What is early bird special pricing?

Book during the early bird registration window and receive $200 off your stateroom plus an extra $100 in onboard spending credit per guest!

Which ship will host NurseCon at Sea 2027?

We’ll be cruising in style aboard the Celebrity Reflection by Celebrity Cruises.

Where are we departing from and returning to?

Our home base is Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Florida (1850 Eller Drive, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33316).

What’s the minimum age requirement?

You gotta be 18+ to book, and at least one guest per stateroom must be 21+. No babies, no kiddos!

Do I have to be a healthcare worker to attend?

Nope! We welcome non-healthcare guests (friends, family, spouses, partners), but at least one person per reservation must be a licensed/certified healthcare worker or student.

Can I attend as a solo traveler?

Of course! Solo travelers are totally welcome. Just a heads-up: pricing is based on double occupancy, so you’ll pay for two unless you snag one of our limited solo traveler staterooms (first-come, first-served). Need a roomie? Join our Solo Travelers Facebook group: Find a Roommate Here!

Can I add a 3rd or 4th guest to my stateroom?

Yep! Some rooms can fit extra guests. Pricing depends on the room type, so check availability when booking.

Are ADA-accessible rooms available onboard?

Yes! A limited number of ADA-accessible staterooms are available onboard. If you need assistance securing an ADA room or have questions about accessibility, contact Customer Support at (850) 318-8830.

How is pricing structured?

Pricing is per person based on double occupancy.
The price shown includes the full conference fee, taxes, fees, gratuities, and this year also includes complimentary Wi-Fi!

How many CNEs will be available onboard?

Get ready to level up! We’re offering over 50+ CNE credits at NurseCon at Sea 2027.

What if I can’t attend every CNE session I want?

We got you! Select sessions will be recorded and available to watch from your stateroom so you can keep learning while lounging in bed.

Is NurseCon accredited?

You bet! NurseCon LLC is officially accredited by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

How will I receive my CNE credits?

After the conference, you'll receive an email with a CNE evaluation. Simply complete the evaluation, self-report the courses and workshops you attended, and you'll receive a certificate showing your earned contact hours!

When will my merch bundle ship?

Merch bundles ordered during booking will start shipping in mid-November. Keep an eye out—we can't wait for you to receive them!

When will my onboard spending credit be available?

Your onboard spending credit will be ready as soon as you're onboard! Enjoy it for drink packages, spa services, specialty dining, excursions, and more!

Does NurseCon offer monthly payment plans?

Absolutely!

  • Deposits start at just $99 per person
  • The remaining balance is split into equal monthly payments
  • Payments are automatically charged on the 25th of each month
  • Final payment is due February 25, 2027
What are my payment options?

We love flexibility!

  • Monthly payment plans available. Reserve your spot for as low as $99 down!
  • Pay-in-full option (pay before August 31, 2026, and save up to $200 on your reservation)
What happens if my payment is late?
  • Missed a payment? Contact us ASAP!
  • Late fees: $50 per late payment
  • If you’re 45+ days past due, your reservation may be canceled without a refund.
  • If your final balance isn’t paid one week after the due date, your booking will be automatically canceled.

What’s the refund policy?

All payments are non-refundable. You can transfer your reservation (fees apply). If NurseCon at Sea or the cruise line cancels, you’ll receive a credit toward a future NurseCon at Sea event, valid for 3 years. .

Pro tip: GET TRAVEL INSURANCE. Trust us.

Should I purchase travel insurance?

YES! We highly recommend it. Travel insurance protects you from trip delays, medical expenses, lost luggage, and other "oops" moments. You can add it at checkout through Travel Insured International.

What is the Cruise with Confidence Program?

If NurseCon at Sea or the cruise line postpones or cancels your sailing, you’ll get a NurseCon at Sea Future Cruise Credit valid for 3 years.

Pre- Conference FAQS

What is the Pre-Conference Sailing?

An exclusive add-on cruise happening April 23–26, 2027, immediately before NurseCon at Sea 2027. Same ship. Same departure port. Extra adventure. It’s the ultimate experience upgrade for anyone who wants to extend the trip and kick things off early.

Where are we going?

We’ll sail to Key West and Grand Bahama before returning to Fort Lauderdale to officially launch the Ultimate Nursing Conference

Who can book it?

Only guests registered for NurseCon at Sea 2027 can book the Pre-Conference Sailing. After booking the main conference, you’ll receive a special booking link in your confirmation email. You cannot attend the Pre-Conference without also attending the NurseCon at Sea 2027

Is it limited?

Yes. Capacity is capped at 250 rooms (500 guests max). Once it’s full, it’s full.

Will there be CNEs?

Yes, a limited number of CNE sessions will be offered. Content will be lighter, more casual, and more intimate than the main conference. Sessions will not be recorded.

How does pricing work?

The Pre-Conference Sailing has separate pricing and it will be a separate reservation (ADD pricing page link). Deposit structure, payment plans, deadlines, and refund policies are the same as the main sailing. 

Will I stay in the same room for both sailings?

We’ll try, but we cannot guarantee it due to limited room categories and partial ship access. Upgrade options may be available through the cruise line.

Will we need to disembark between sailings?

Details are still being finalized. We’ll share more once confirmed.

What is the Pre-Conference Sailing?

An exclusive add-on group sailing April 23 to 26, 2027 that departs from the same port and sails on the same ship as NurseCon at Sea 2027. It is a three-day extension for attendees who want to extend their trip and start the conference early.

Where will the ship go?

Key West and Grand Bahama, returning to Fort Lauderdale to begin the full conference.

Who can book the Pre-Conference?

Only guests registered for NurseCon at Sea 2027. After you purchase the main conference sailing you will receive a confirmation email with a special link and instructions to add the three-day Pre-Conference. You cannot attend the Pre-Conference without also being registered for the main conference.

How many cabins are available?

The Pre-Conference is limited to 250 cabins, up to 500 guests total. Once those cabins are sold the add-on will close. A waitlist may be available if it sells out.

How do I add the extra three days after buying the main sailing?

Follow the instructions and link in your NurseCon confirmation email or by calling NurseCon at Sea support after booking NurseCon at Sea 2027. Exact steps will be included in the NurseCon at Sea 2027 booking confirmation email.

Can I book the five-day and three-day segments together?

You will need to create your NurseCon at Sea 2027 reservation prior to booking the pre-conference, Instructions will be provided in your confirmation email.

Will I stay in the same stateroom for both segments?

We will try to keep you in the same stateroom but it is not guaranteed because the Pre-Conference is a group sailing and the main conference is a full-ship charter. If you remain in the same room your luggage can usually stay, though you may need to complete a re-embarkation process when the second segment begins. Upgrade options may be available for the group sailing for additional cost.

Will I need to disembark between sailings?

Final procedures are still being confirmed. In many cases guests who remain in the same stateroom will still complete a re-embarkation step but will not need to repack or remove their luggage from the stateroom. We will publish the exact logistics once the cruise line confirms them.

Are CNE credits available during the Pre-Conference?

Yes. A limited number of CNE sessions will be offered. Sessions will be smaller, more casual, and more intimate than the main conference program. Sessions will not be recorded. Attendance is self-reported via an email survey after disembarkation and certificates are issued based on those reports.

How is pricing handled?

The Pre-Conference has separate pricing and is issued as its own reservation. Deposit structure, payment plans, deadlines, and refund rules follow the same policies as the main sailing. Prices are inclusive of applicable taxes, fees, gratuities, and the beverage and Wi-Fi packages described below.

What is included with a stateroom?

Guests who pay full fare in these staterooms receive the listed packages at no extra charge:
• Inside, Ocean View, Veranda, Concierge Class, and AquaClass: Classic Beverage Package and Basic Wi-Fi Package.
• The Retreat suites: Premium Beverage Package and Premium Wi-Fi Package.

Can I opt out of the beverage or Wi-Fi package to lower the room price?

No. For eligible staterooms paid at full fare the specified beverage and Wi-Fi packages are included and cannot be removed to reduce the price.

If I book through Celebrity or a travel agent do I still get NurseCon activities?

No. Guests who book outside the NurseCon block or through Celebrity directly are not eligible for NurseCon-only activities and events. To participate in NurseCon programming and to receive group perks you must book through NurseCon.

What if I need to cancel or transfer my reservation?

Cancellation, deposit and refund rules follow the main sailing policy. Reservations are non-refundable and we highly recommend purchasing travel insurance.. Transfers to another guest are generally allowed for a transfer fee. Contact support for current transfer terms and the steps to complete a transfer.
